How to I login?

  1. Enter your cell phone number or email to get started.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code texted/emailed to you.
  3. Click the icon in the upper right corner to update the profile for you and your household.

Do I need to create an account?

No, you don't have to create an account to view most of the content in the app. However, some things will require a login including viewing your giving history and registering for some events and groups.

Why did we switch platforms?

Sometimes an upgrade is necessary to make ensure we are being good stewards of our resources. This change saves us money on the fees for online giving as well as streamlines many of our office practices and database management which saves time for staff and volunteers.

How do I access the church directory?

The directory is a private place for the people in our church to share their contact information. Participating in the directory is completely optional. People invited to the directory can see the others or share their information. You can also update your contact information on Church Center.

Each invited person can choose the information they want to show about themselves or their household, and you can also always go back and change your privacy preferences for your contact and household information at any time.

You must be invited to join the church directory. If you would like to be part of the directory,
fill out this form to request access.

What is the difference between Church Center and Planning Center Online (PCO)?

The Church Center App is a tool within Planning Center Online (PCO), Calvary's church management system (officially replaced Breeze in January 2025). Church Center is the congregation-facing mobile app (also available through a browser) that acts as the hub of all church activity created through PCO. PCO is a suite of admin-facing tools that are used by Calvary ministry leaders to organize and publish information on Church Center. Other Planning Center tools include:
  • Services (Sunday volunteer scheduling and worship plans)
  • Groups (Groups administration)
  • Registrations (Event Registrations)
  • People (Internal congregational database and workflows)  

I'm currently viewing this in a browser, is what I am seeing now part of the app?

You can view our instance of Church Center either from the app (click here to download) or it can be viewed in a browser at https://calvarysinkingspring.churchcenter.com. The information across both is exactly the same and you can interact with Church Center however you prefer.

Giving

What if I had automatic giving set up in the old system?

To protect your personal information, we weren’t able to transfer saved payment methods or recurring gifts from our old system.

If you have recurring giving setup in our old system, please CLICK HERE to access the old system. Login and click RECURRING at the top. You can delete your recurring gift and then visit the Give section in Church Center (or click here) to set up a recurring gift.

Why is there a processing fee when I give?

When you use your credit card or pay electronically, the organization receiving the payment pays a processing fee based on the total amount. Our giving system allows you to maximize your gift by covering the fees. This is optional. Simply uncheck the box and Calvary will pay the fees just as it has in the past.

Giving by e-check (ACH) is the best way to avoid fees as it only comes with a $0.30 set fee, regardless of the amount!

Are there other ways to give?

Yes! We have three ways to give:
  • Participate in online giving through our giving portal or the Church Center App
  • Give on Sundays in the boxes at the entrance to the auditorium
  • Mail a check to the church office at 4891 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.

Where can I find my giving statement?

You can view your giving history starting in 2025 by navigating to your profile and scrolling to the bottom where it says, “My giving.” There you can also find your official yearly giving statement. (If you need an official statement for donations made in 2024 or before, please contact jess@cbfc.net.)

Accounts & Passwords

How do I know if I have an account?

Just click login, enter your mobile number or email address and Church Center will then send you a text message with a code or an email with a login link. Enter the code or click the link in the email and if you already have an account you'll be logged in or if you didn't already have account, you will be able to create one.

I can't remember my password, what do I do?

Trick Question :) In Church Center, there are no passwords to remember. Instead, when you want to login, you’ll just enter your email address or mobile number and Church Center will send you a login link or code that can only be used once and expires in 30 minutes. This is even more secure than a password because only you have access to your email or cell phone.

Logging in without a password?! How can that be secure?

Planning Center (the software that powers Church Center) uses secure one-time login links and codes sent to your email address or mobile number instead of passwords. This is secure because only you have access to your email and text messages, and each email link/code is only active for 30 minutes.

How to I add a profile picture to my profile?

Click on your profile image in the top right corner of the website or mobile app to view/edit your account page. Then click on your profile photo at the top of the page to edit your profile image.

Volunteer Schedule & My Church Activity

Can I access my Sunday morning volunteer schedule in the app?

Yes! Go to your profile (the icon in the top-right corner of the screen). Any open signups or volunteer requests will be visible at the top under “My Schedule.” 
Tap the “Actions” button to add volunteer blockout dates or email a team leader. Please contact your team leaders with any questions about the volunteer schedule on Sunday morning.

How do I see all the information related to me (my volunteer schedule, groups I belong to, events I have registered for, my giving history, etc.)

Once you have logged in on the website or opened the mobile app, your profile is located in the top-right corner of the screen. Click the icon with your picture. If you have not uploaded a picture, you will either see a circle icon with your initials (website) or you will see a person icon (mobile app).
